Hard Rock Hotel San Diego Wedding
One of our favorite spots to shoot at in San Diego is the Hard Rock Hotel as it matches up well with our fashion forward style of photography. Situated in the heart of the San Diego’s Gaslamp District, you are mere steps away from the best restaurants in San Diego. The staff at the Hard Rock Hotel are top notch and excellent a custom tailor the design and lighting of your San Diego Hard Rock Hotel Wedding.
Ballrooms and Lighting
The largest ballroom for a Hard Rock Hotel San Diego Wedding is the Legends Ballroom, which can accomodate up to 1000 guests. With any of the ballrooms here, we highly recommend going with up lighting as it really sets the mood and ambience of the space. Otherwise we feel the normal overhead fluorescent lighting is too dull. Overhead fluorescent lighting looks bad for photos in our 7+ years of wedding photography experience.
After The Party…
…is the after the party. After the after party is the hotel lobby… and at a San Diego Hard Rock Hotel Wedding that means the 207 Club beneath the Legends Ballroom. If you plan to party ahead of the wedding nearby, there are tons of choices in the Gaslamp such as the Altitude bar at the Marriott. If you love Sushi try Taka on 555 5th Avenue a few blocks north. Another awesome restaurant nearby is Nobu and it’s inside the hotel as well!
Bridal Suites, Honeymoon Suites
Another great bonus, are the many Rock Star suites perfect for honeymoon suites. Many of the suites are large enough to accomodate your bridal party for getting ready on your wedding day.
One of the nice things about having a Hard Rock Hotel San Diego Wedding is that you can eliminate the need to ferry the wedding party and guests from multiple locations. Accommodations suit everyone from youngsters to the couple’s grandparents. The facility is accessible for those with special needs. Hair and spa facilities mean you won’t have to spend the wedding day rushing from place to place.

Anything they don’t provide, they can help you find. You’ll only be doing this once. The folks at Hard Rock have guided dozens of weddings.
