Kay + Jun :: Hilton San Diego Bayfront Wedding

Hola friends!

We had the pleasure of documenting Kay and Jun’s wedding recently. We loved working with Kay and Jun and admired their wonderful sense of style and beauty. Also, another thing we love about them are that they are big music geeks and are surrounded by talented musicians (Kay is one herself, being a recent grad from Berklee College of Music). We were treated to some wonderful musical performances that night, among them was the first dance song sang by her talented blues musician turned bridesmaid for the day, Melinda, with her rendition of “At Last.” If you’re FeelinBluesee, do check out more of her work on Melinda’s Myspace page. We portrayed a bit of their love of music in Kay and Jun’s Del Mar engagement session (Check those out if you haven’t yet!). There were a couple of more surprise performances later in the evening, so check out the slideshow at the very bottom of this post to see them!

Kay and Jun couldn’t have a picked a better day, for their wedding along the bay at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. They even had a fireworks display out on the bay later that night, so it was a huge bonus for everyone in attendance. Here are a few highlights from the day.

Kay’s father did a surprise performance for Kay on piano. It was a song he always played for her when she was little. Kay did her best to fight back the tears and so did we.:)

I’ve noticed from your photos that you like to rack focus to put emphasis in your subject. I think your approach is good. :)
