We recently shot Aracely and Abe’s wedding (you can see their e-session from a few posts ago). Their beautiful ceremony was held at St John of Cross in Lemon Grove. We made a quick stop to Balboa Park before the reception which took place at the La Jolla Hyatt Regency.
So without further ado…
The good folks at La Jolla Disc Jockeys provided entertainment and lighting that really made the venue look awesome.
We shoot with strategery and love working those dramatic uplights into our shots. Karen took this gorgeous shot of Aracely and Abe.
I had a little fun with doing this ring shot on the back of an ice sculpture which was slowly melting away. It kinda reminds me of how T1000 melted away at the end of Terminator 2. Which by the way is our simple approach to weddings: drawing a lot of our inspiration from block buster 1990s sci-fi’s. Gotta watch my DVD of the Predator for this weeks wedding.
