I had to dump b2evo since we were getting hammered with too much comment spam and the support generally sucked for b2evo.  So we switched over to wordpress, which is 10x better in terms of support and extensibility.  Setup was ridiculously easy as was switching themes.  If you’re in the market to switch over to a new blog publishing setup, I wouldn’t hesitate recommending wordpress.  I’ll back that up with a money back guarantee (which isn’t much since wordpress free!)
