SNEAK PEEK

Hi friends! Your friendly neighborhood photo ninjas are back from vacation with Leah and Lawrence’s 7 Degrees Laguna Beach Wedding. When we shot Leah and Lawrence’s engagement session at the SLS Hotel Beverly Hills, we knew they had great style and loved to party. Leah’s girls were decked out in dope one shoulder purple cocktail dresses and Leah was utterly sheik in her Vera Wang mermaid wedding gown. We had too much fun documenting their wedding. Lawrence and his groomsmen were a riot and we found ourselves struggling to contain our laughter throughout the day. Thank you so much you two for allowing us to rock our NINJA magic on your big day.

Karen rocked this shot.

Karen killed it with some crazy layers on this shot.

Ed’s favorite image from the day.

Leah and Lawrence decked out 7 degrees with some great details.

A proud instagramming husband.

San Diego Photography Workshop

Jan 25, 2012 posted by Ed

It was a pleasure having such great students this past weekend for our San Diego Photography Workshop aka Shoot Like a NINJA. We taught our students how to master the basics of exposure and camera operation in the morning. Then in the afternoon, we taught students how to find great portraiture light, and techniques in creative composition. Our students came away with a new found confidence in making great images. As with our previous workshop, we had an amazing and talend modem for the afternoon shoot. Naduah Rugely from America’s Next Top Model Season 10 modeled for the students as we explored a multitude of natural lighting conditions, from soft to dramatic.

“This was seriously one of the best workshops I’ve been too!” -Meredith Merriman

“This was such a great workshop! Highly recommend. Thanks Ed!!” -Karen Wong

“Loved the workshop, the location, the pizza and getting to know new ninja photogs. I’d fly all the way to do it all over again, so worth it!!!” -Mariana Saro

“Thanks Ed for the opportunity, had a great time and learned lots! T’sall all about beast-mode from here on out…” -Roger Sur

“I highly recommend Ed’s workshops. I met some great people, Ed an awesome teacher, and I took away much needed confidence.” -Nightingale Oao

Karen and I are on a bit of a vow renewal induced high. Last week, we had our extremely talented, good friends Brandon and Katrina photograph our vow renewal. We are so excited to see the photos these two captured and we know they killed it! The day before the ceremony we took a full day excursion to the Chocolate Hills in Bohol, Philippines. We had so much fun hanging out with them last week. We had the chance to turn the tables on our friends and got a couple snaps of these these crazy love birds. Love you and miss you guys. :)
