What’s up peeps?
It’s again that time: Team Atrero is back with another dose of e-session goodness. Danny and Amanda and Team Atrero nearly got wasted before the e-session even started. Those delicious mojitos hit the spot, guys! Woohoo! Now, on to the pics!
As you can tell… Danny’s a sports buff. Amanda is well… a girly girl.
We’ll be shooting Amanda and Danny’s big day in a few weeks. We got more in the pipeline so stay tuned!

Or… as we old school folks call the “Del Mar Fair.” It’s that time of the year to load up on cholesterol unfriendly fried yumminess. Team Atrero spent the day at the fair with Gigi and Jonathan on a gastronomical quest of the latest county fair delicacies. Our buddy John from NR3 Video Productions was shooting alongside and devouring everything in sight.
As with us, the “Fair” holds a special place in Gigi and Jonathan heart. They have even made trips to San Diego while they lived in Nevada just for the fair. OK, maybe the fact that their families still live in SD might have played a role. But who can resist Australian Battered Potatoes?!?
Sidenote: whilst snapping away, Ed was in search of the mythical 6 foot churro. Alas, he later discovered such technology has not been yet developed to coat an object with 40 pounds of cinnamon sugar.
Here they are… the holy grail of potatoes in fried form: Australian Battered Potatoes. Droooolll….
Apparently, Gigi didn’t win this time around. Word has it that she’s been filling her bath tub and tossing ping pong balls in cups to gear up for the next county fair.
Gigi saying: “Dude! Don’t bogart the candy apple!”
Check out Gigi and Jonathan’s Engagement Session Slideshow for more!
Thanks, Gigi and Jonathan! We had a great time and thanks for taking care of us junk food junkies.

Team Atrero is back from a blogging hiatus with some brand spanking new images! Here’s Jackie and Arnold’s engagement session we shot last month. Jackie’s such a doll and Arnold’s such a character and make a wonderful couple. We’re excited to be shooting their wedding in October!
Arnold was showing off his mad card magic card skills earlier.
Here’s Ed trying not to die while taking the shot above. It doesn’t help having a fear for heights, but we ninjas are fearless like that!
Jackie and Arnold have Neapolitan colors for the wedding! For junk food junkies like ourselves, that only means one thing: ice cream sandwiches in 50 degree weather! Oh yah.. June SD weather was wiggy wiggy whack.
We wanted to break out my butane lighter and start waving it in the air, because Arnold’s got a mad rendition of Extreme’s More Than Words. Can you imagine how many babies were made to that song? It just boggles the mind. But, I digress…
Check out the slideshow for the rest! Tons more weddings in the pipeline so stay tuned!

Hola Amigos,
We recently shot Elaine and Nate’s wedding at the USD Immaculata with the reception at the Westin Gaslamp Quarter. Here are the goods. Enjoy!
We may be outgunned at times, but we’re always quicker on the draw.
Nate’s brother Jason had a very touching speech during the toasts.
